In the interest of realizing that I have not written a single blog entry this year and the year is almost over, I have decided to fill out one of those silly surveys so as to have at least one entry tying this year to, hopefully, next, on this blog. Perhaps I will also be back before the year ends to write something more thoughtful. In the meantime, I present a little bit above average survey for your viewing pleasure:
1. Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed? Either. Usually open cuz I'm lazy.
2. Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotels? No. Those shampoos and conditioners are too harsh for my hair. I did take a bar of soap I'd opened already once--it was actually pretty good quality and I liked the smell.
3. Do you sleep with your sheets tucked in or out? Out! I hate feeling like my feet are trapped.
4. Have you stolen a street sign before? Noooo...but I've had stolen street sign given to me because it had my name on it. Does it count as stealing if it was picked up from the ground?
5. Do you like to use post-it notes? Yes. They are convenient and help me remember stuffs!
6. Do you cut out coupons but then never use them? I use them about one in ten times I save them from the junk mail ads.
7. Would you rather be attacked by a big bear or a swarm of bees? Bees. I think there's a greater chance of surviving, at least for me as I don't have a bee allergy. Hollah!
8. Do you have freckles? Yes! They are VERY light and only show up after much sun exposure, but I like them and wish they were more pronounced.
9. Do you always smile for pictures? Maybe? I think I make faces about as often as I smile.
10. What is your biggest pet peeve? Not using a turn signal and making me wait because I therefore didn't know that I indeed could go. Also not squeezing out the sponge and leaving it OUTSIDE the sink after using it to clean dishes. I HATE soggy, smelly sponges. Just take a few extra seconds to do that and you cut down on bacteria, aka smell, growth SO much!
11. Do you ever count your steps when you walk? Yes. I do it less than I used to, but I find myself doing it most often on stairs for some reason.
12. Have you peed in the woods? Yes. Hello, camping!
13. Have you ever pooped in the woods? See above.
14. Do you ever dance even if theres no music playing? I'm sure I've occasionally done this.
15. Do you chew your pens and pencils? Used to chew pens, broke that habit in high school when I started borrowing friends' pens more often.
16. How many people have you slept with this week? One, thank you.
17. What size is your bed? Queen.
18. What is your song of the week? I don't think I had one. I did have a 90's song stuck in my head earlier, but I've forgotten what it was.
19. Is it OK for guys to wear pink? Sure.
20. Do you still watch cartoons? No. We don't have regular channels, just Netflix.
21. What is your least favorite movie? Blades of Glory? I actually haven't seen it, but that too-obvious, crass, slap-stick humor that the previews made it seem like it would have is my least favorite. I'm pretty good at not watching movies I know I won't like so I don't think I really have a least favorite.
22. Where would you bury hidden treasure if you had some? Under the shade of a tree somewhere.
23. What do you drink with dinner? Usually water, sometimes soda if we're eating out.
24. What do you dip a chicken nugget in? Honey mustard sauce is my fave, but I regularly rotate between BBQ and ranch also. Like, given the choice, I'd take all three and rotate between them in the same meal.
25. What is your favorite food? All the food! Actually, berries, particularly raspberries.
26. What movies could you watch over and over again and still love? None of them. I don't like re-watching until it's been long enough that I don't remember the movie very well.

28. Were you ever a boy/girl scout? Yes, I was a girl scout from age 6 to age 11, I think.
29. Would you ever strip or pose nude in a magazine? Not in a magazine. I have considered posing nude for art classes though.
30. When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone on paper? Last month--mailed a package to Japan and had to write a note to go with it! :)
31. Can you change the oil on a car? No.
32. Ever gotten a speeding ticket? No. Doesn't mean I haven't deserved one a few times.
33. Ever ran out of gas? No? Yeah, no. I ALMOST did, once.
34. What’s your favorite kind of sandwich? BLT!
35. Best thing to eat for breakfast? Eggies. And I like fresh baking soda biscuits.
36. What is your usual bedtime? 11ish
37. Are you lazy? Sometimes, but not in general, I don't think.
38. When you were a kid, what did you dress up as for Halloween? Princesses, brides, vampire maybe once? I liked to dress UP for Halloween, in girly stuff.
39. What is your Chinese astrological sign? Aries except they added that one back in and now I'm a Pisces.
40. How many languages can you speak? One and a half. My Spanish is so eroded now...
41. Do you have any magazine subscriptions? No. Oh, maybe the Ensign magazine.
42. Which are better: legos or lincoln logs? Played with both as a kid. I really like Lincoln Logs but Legos has more sizes and therefore flexibility as to what you can make.
43. Are you stubborn? Yes, on the things that matter and sometimes on things that don't, too, haha!
44. Who is better: Leno or Letterman? Leno? I don't watch late night and I think I've never seen Letterman but have seen snippets of Leno, which is why I'm going with him.
45. Ever watch soap operas? I have watched parts of them on PBS while bored.
46. Are you afraid of heights? Not excessively. I've been scared on some cliff ledges with sheer drop offs, though, if I get too close to the edge.
47. Do you sing in the car? Not that often.
48. Do you sing in the shower? Not that often.
49. Do you dance in the car? More than I sing, actually.
50. Ever used a gun? Yes, I've been shooting about 3 or 4 times now.
51. Last time you got a portrait taken by a photographer? Pretty sure that was for my bridals, which I did after my wedding or it would have been for my wedding, haha.
52. Do you think musicals are cheesy? Not all of them, there's a lot I like, especially live.
53. Is Christmas stressful? It can be, but I think it's worth it.
54. Ever eat a pierogi? No, I don't know what that is.
55. Favorite type of fruit pie? Apple or cherry, I think. (Pumpkin is not a fruit and therefore not my answer.)
56. Occupations you wanted to be when you were a kid? Teacher, singer
57. Do you believe in ghosts? Yes but I don't like thinking about that.
58. Ever have a Deja-vu feeling? Yes.
59. Do you take a vitamin daily? Multiple vitamins daily.
60. Do you wear slippers? When my feet are cold and they're nearby.
61. Do you wear a bath robe? Yes, but usually in the morning when I'm cold, not after a shower, haha.
62. What do you wear to bed? Clothes. Jk. I've covered from neck to knee.
63. What was your first concert? Um...Sara Barallies. (I don't know how to spell her name, apparently.)

65. Nike or Adidas? Adidas? Don't really care.
66. Cheetos or Fritos? Fritos.
67. Peanuts or Sunflower seeds? I like both. Sunflower seeds?
68. Ever hear of the group Tres Bien? I think so but no bells are ringing.
69. Ever take dance lessons? As a child and a social dance class in college.
70. Is there a profession you picture your future spouse doing? Being in IT, lol.
71. Can you curl your tongue? Yes.
72. Ever won a spelling bee? No, and I was upset about loosing, lol.
73. Have you ever cried because you were so happy? Yes, often. But then again, I'm a crier.

78. Who would you like to see in concert? Um...I was thinking about this the other day. Maybe Goo Goo Dolls?

80. Hot tea or cold tea? It depends. I've drunk a lot more hot.
81. Tea or coffee? I only drink herbal tea, and then mostly when I'm sick. I just don't think about it too often otherwise.
82. Sugar cookies or snickerdoodles? Snickerdoodles, I think.
83. Can you swim well? I'm ok.
84. Can you hold your breath without holding your nose? Yes.
85. Are you patient? With many things yes, some others, no. Overall probably yes.
86. DJ or band at a wedding? I like both.
87. Ever won a contest? Yes. A coloring contest in elementary school and also an essay contest. A few raffles, probably. And...can't think of anything else.
88. Have you ever had plastic surgery? No.
89. Which are better: black or green olives? I like 'em both, but I gotta eat my green olives slow cuz they are STRONG!
90. Can you knit or crochet? I learned a little crochet, I think I remember some. I can also embroider and cross stich.
91. Best room for a fireplace? Living room or maybe bedroom--that sounds cozy.
92. Do you want to get married? Yes, haha. I'd like to stay married, too, lol.
93. If married, how long have you been married? A few months past a year and a half.
94. Who was your high school crush? One?! BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
95. Do you cry and throw a fit until you get your own way? Definitely not.
96. Do you have kids? No.
97. Do you want kids? Yes.
98. What is your favorite color? That changes. I always default back to blue, but purple has been lovely lately.
99. Do you miss anyone right now? My sister.
